Beta Reading Services

Receive actionable feedback, increase your confidence to publish, and keep your readers coming back for more!

So, you have completed your book and are looking for feedback prior to sharing it with the world. I would love to help!

What is Beta Reading?
Beta reading gives you, the author, the opportunity to receive authentic feedback from a reader prior to publishing. It is a "test drive" of sorts to help prevent any embarrassing plot holes, continuity issues, information dumps, etc., from making it into your published book. I will tell you both what works well and what problems are identified.

What Beta Reading is Not...
Beta reading does not take the place of a manuscript evaluation, developmental editing, copy editing, or proofreading. If you hire me to beta read, I will stay within the scope of that role. If you are interested in other editing services, I would be happy to provide that as well for a discounted fee.

Why Pay For a Beta Read?
Hiring a professional beta reader means you are getting authentic insight from a reader who knows how to provide effective, constructive, and objective feedback. You are getting a service from a professional who is committed to providing you with feedback in the timeframe agreed upon. Paying for a professional beta reader is a small investment for the authentic, constructive feedback you will receive.
