Based in the midwestern United States, I am a freelance editor partnering with authors to make their writing shine.
I specialize in Christian nonfiction, clean romance, mystery, fantasy, children's, and YA manuscripts. I believe in preserving the author's unique voice and vision for their story and offer collaborative editing to enhance and elevate each client's manuscript.
In addition to obtaining a degree in Business Administration, I have completed editing courses through the Editorial Freelancers Association and The PEN Institute. I am a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association, The Christian PEN, and I am an instructor for The PEN Institute.
My diverse experience in business and education makes me a unique and valuable partner for my clients. I provide manuscript evaluations, developmental editing, copyediting, and proofreading services. In addition, I offer coaching and collaborative writing for new authors.
I have had the privilege of working with publishers and indie authors on a combination of editing services. Collectively, I have edited over 1M words on a variety of projects, and it has been a joy to challenge, encourage, and cheer on my author clients as they bring glory to God and make their dreams come true.
I am a mom to three children and a wife to a dedicated and hard-working husband. I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, reading, and swimming. I am also an avid chocolate and coffee lover and mama to a sweet little dachshund.
